2nd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting
Featuring a newly designed horizontal plate, the RS 4 Pro allows for the second generation of native vertical shooting, offering enhanced efficiency. Cinematographers can easily switch to vertical shooting by releasing the horizontal plate and locking it into position—no extra accessories required.
Smooth Balancing
The roll axis is now equipped with dual rolling bearings for smoother adjustments. All three axes are coated with Teflon™ to reduce friction, ensuring smooth balancing even with heavier setups. The fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows precise adjustments to achieve millimeter-level balancing when switching cameras or lenses. The upper quick-release plate has an adjustable placement guide to keep the camera securely in place.
Automatic Screen Lock
The OLED touchscreen includes an auto-lock feature that prevents accidental touches during shooting. When locked, the display dims to show the gimbal and joystick modes at low brightness, conserving battery life.
2nd-Gen Automated Axis Locks
The next-gen automated axis locks enable the RS 4 Pro to start up or enter sleep mode quickly, enhancing shooting, transition, and storage efficiency. The upgraded locks also minimize gaps, further reducing gimbal shake when locked.

The improved DJI Focus Pro Motor offers more precise control with a 30% increase in motor speed, enabling responsive focus, zoom, and aperture control. The universal 15mm rod is versatile and compatible with more setups, and the latency has been reduced to 10 ms for seamless operation.

The RS 4 Pro introduces a joystick mode switch for controlling gimbal movement or lens zoom. In zoom control mode, the joystick allows for Power Zoom for PZ lenses, Clear Image Zoom, and external focus motor zoom.
